The CCC Wool Bomber is an exact replica of the wool jackets issued by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The CCC was a 1930s New Deal initiative implemented by Franklin D. Roosevelt that combined his passion for our wild lands with the need for Depression-era jobs. CCC workers replanted forests, fought wildfires, and provided aid in times of natural disasters.
