The Vans Sunny Day Old Skool Tapered VR3 is a deconstructed version of the iconic Sidestripe design. They have a slimmer, tighter silhouette than traditional Old Skools. These classic low-top sneakers are also equipped with the signature rubber waffle sole and all-over print. In order to reduce Vans' overall footprint, our team has set ambitious sustainability goals. In keeping with its commitment to sustainability, the VR3 midsole of this model is made with at least 25% bio-based EVA foam, partially derived from plant-based sources. All of our efforts, big or small, add up to the bigger picture to create positive change. VR3 is Vans' commitment that, by 2030, 100% of the four materials that generate the most CO2 emissions (cotton, leather, rubber and polyester) will come from regenerative, renewable, responsibly sourced or recycled sources.
