The Nupen Coat is made with a main fabric of 65% recycled Polyester (Tex2Tex) and 35% recycled Polyester (Sea thread). It has a lining of 100% recycled Polyester and THERMOLITE® filling of 100% recycled Polyester (Tex2Tex). Our recycled polyester sea thread is produced with bottles and other waste collected from the ocean, thanks to the Ecoalf Foundation, which has the mission to clean the oceans of marine debris. Recycled polyester can come from post-consumer PET bottles or textile waste (production leftovers or used garments). We manage to close the circular economy loop and prevent this waste from ending up in landfills or incinerators or downcycling, revaluing textile waste.
