Mizuno MXR Salute-Black-Indigo

The MXR reflects our wish to spread the retro-running experience of Mizuno from the 2000s, as an extension of the world-renowned Wave Rider 10. The name MXR comes from the Maximizer line, a running line that has been offered for years in our home market to bring Mizuno quality to a wide audience. The MXR is an entry-level silhouette but stays true to Mizuno’s essence, with a high level of quality and craftsmanship. Special attention to the new tooling, with a high level of detail and multiple rubber pieces that allow technical color blocks. This version continues our premium spirit, with a synthetic suede overlay and tonal normcore shades. The mesh is a bit narrower to keep a casual and in-between seasons feel. The design of this model has its origins in the Maximizer launched in 2009, which was unearthed from Mizuno’s vast archives amid the spread of retro running shoes in the 2000s. We call it MXR "CASUAL" through the use of synthetic suede and two types of mesh combination.
