Tin Cloth’s legendary abrasion and tear resistance make it the ideal material for a lightweight bag that withstands the test of time and heavy use. The Bridle Leather handles and strap are vegetable-tanned by the iconic Wickett & Craig, where each hide is slowly immersed in a special bark tannin solution. In the final stages, tallow and waxes are added, providing a deep shine and lasting flexibility. This eco-friendly process transforms cowhides into tough, supple leather suitable for horse tack, saddlery, and Filson bags. With virtually indestructible solid brass YKK® zippers, this briefcase is built to last for decades.

While durability was a primary consideration in designing this bag, comfort and utility are equally important.
