Simplified and renewed. We have created the Escalante 4 as a nod to the much-loved Escalante 1.5, featuring FootShape Fit, greater flexibility, and a lighter weight. These streamlined and versatile shoes, built to endure miles on pavement, will allow you to excel in all kinds of fast training runs, daily walks, or everyday errands. They have a technical knit upper with a sock-like fit for a snugger hold and a knit tongue, just like the original Escalantes. We have improved the rubber midsole to be lighter and more flexible, so you feel connected to the pavement. The new insole recalls that of the iconic Escalante 1.5 and 2.0, with the same Altra EGO™ foam in the midsole for greater responsiveness and comfort. The design is completed with a roomy toe box that allows toe movement and a zero drop silhouette so you move as naturally as possible.
